You won't regret buying it, 2008-09-29 I'm very pleased with this device because it does what it's supposed to - flush out your sinuses. I've suffered with a almost total nasal congestion all my life, with associated fatigue, illness and sleep disturbance. This product has been an essential part of my recovery process. I think doctors need to get their act together and start recommending these products more often! I've had two nose operations and suffered for years with congestion, crusting and a blocked up nose, and no ENT ever mentioned anything like this. If only I had known that relief could be this easy! For me, it also seems to reduce my hystemic reaction to allergens - I assume it does this by washing out the particles that would otherwise sit inside the nose, irritate the mucousa and cause the hayfever symptoms. It's funny, we wash our hands regularly, change the oil in our cars and vacuum our floors but most people never think to clean of the most used and vital parts of our body - our nasal passages! Honestly, now that I'm used to the 'clean' feeling every day, it feels gross and uncomfortable when I forget to use the SinuPulse. I use it twice a day minimum. Pros: It just works. It flushes your sinuses, clears up your breathing and improves your life by a quantifiable amount. Cons: Some minor function and aesthetic design flaws that do not mar the overall performance. (The 'pause' button can be a bit tricky, and the water tray wobbles around somewhat) The bottom line: Buy one, you won't regret it. Forget neti pots, squirty syringes, inhaling capsicum extract or dunking your head into the ocean, just get one of these and you'll never look back. IT WORKS!!!, 2008-09-10 Finally a product that works! I'm an active guy and I love outdoor sports (triathlon, running, mountain biking, hiking...), but sometimes my sinuses and allergies drive me CrAZy!!! I'v tried the less expensive Neti Pots but they did not work well for me at all. I got fed up with the Neti Pot and spent the exta money on the SINUPULSE, and it was the best investment I have made in a long time. Neti pots are simply for washing the nasal passages and I have found their effectiveness very limited but for $15.00 I guess you get what you pay for. When it comes to my health I want the best and the SinuPulse with its advanced features including the two sprays, adjustable pressure control, and pulsating technology is the best with no comparison at least for me. If you suffer with allergy and sinus problems as I do invest in your own health and get yourself a SinuPulse. You can even get reimbursed by your insurance provider for the purchase!" 1 of 4 found this review helpful: Not enough water pressure for oral irrigation., 2008-09-05 I recently bought the SinuPulse Elite Advanced Nasal Sinus Irrigation System because I thought that I would get two great products in one machine. The water pressure for the nasal irrigation is fine; however, I find the same water pressure to be extremely low to irrigate out tonsil stones (even when set at the highest level). I had read that this machine would be ideal for that as well. Utilizing this irrigator was extremely messy and the electrical plug in cord is way too short. If I had to choose between a great nasal irrigator (such as this one) and an excellent oral irrigator, I choose the latter. 5 of 6 found this review helpful: So much better than a neti pot - no comparison, 2008-08-31 I purchased a SinuPulse after seeing an ENT specialist review various nasal irrigation devices and identified the SinuPulse as the most advanced nasal irrigation system available. I had been using a neti pot and nasal rinse bottle with limited success but wanted more. After a short use of the SinuPulse my sinus headaches were gone and the annoying post nasal drip I have had for years all but cleared up. The neti pot was very difficult for me to use and quite messy. The SinuPulse is very gentle yet strong enough to feel as if my sinuses and not just my nasal passages are being cleaned out. I don't have to hurt my back or my neck getting in some crazy position to use it like I did with the neti pot. After using it for a short period of time I have to agree it is by far the best money I have spent and clearly the best irrigator available. I even received 60% of my purchase back from my insurance company leaving my out of pocket not much more than the cost of a neti pot yet I would have spent 3 or 4 X for the relief I have received. My wife says since using it my snoring has been reduced as well which is a big plus. 5 Stars all the way!
