The best treatment for asthma is to
identify what triggers your asthma, and
eliminate or cut down your exposure to
whatever it is. Of course, this is not
always possible.
Treatments are divided into two
– drugs which
control the frequency of attacks, and
drugs which treat the symptoms of an
attack when it is happening.
– preventers and
relievers and emergency treatment which
might become necessary in severe
cases.
The specific medical treatment
recommended to patients with asthma
depends on the severity of their
illness and the frequency of their
symptoms.
